Fear

Jul 2, 2021

Greetings Family! Joshua here. We missed you Tuesday! As Hannah and I celebrated her birthday, we thought of you all and are truly grateful for you. We had an amazing day and even as we continue to celebrate her, we're ever grateful for you.

We hope the PRESENCE of God is evident and tangible in your life. May His glory and presence ever increase and shine upon your life. We pray that you taste AND see that the Lord is good. May your testimony resound in eternity as a beacon of hope and faith to every generation to come. May the LIFE of Jesus Christ fill you, saturate you, and bring you to tears of JOY in the midst of it all.

The word I have for you today is a word the Lord spoke to me and I posted a few months back when I was personally going through a financial challenge. In the midst of moving, children, having multiple businesses, and a ministry, sometimes things have just been down right challenging. But GLORY TO GOD!

Any enemy attack that tries to SET YOU BACK, Yahweh can take and use as a SET UP for a more grandeur future. The Word is about FEAR. I hope you enjoy, as I re-read it and freshly added and revised it as the Lord lead me to.

Fear programs you to worry and expect the worse. It programs one to visualize and meditate on the potential detriment or disaster. It puts the brain into a looped motion to prepare for the worse and enforces a mindset of survival. Fearful Re-activity.

Victim: a person harmed, injured, or killed as a result of a crime, accident, or other event or action. A person tricked or duped.

Fear brings one to believe that they are a victim before the crime.

I've heard it said before, "F.E.A.R. Is False Evidence Appearing Real."

It magnifies and sets the conscious on things you didn’t have, don’t have, and wish you had. It minimizes and overlooks the potentiality of what you have, who you have, could do or can do.

MANY people can testify that the above explains how fear has dealt with them!

How does this work?

Fear is a spirit with a consciousness.

2 Timothy 1:7 ESV
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

The patterns and tactics remain the same because it's the same spirit. We are not ignorant to the schemes of the devil. (2 Corinthians 2:11) The "spirit of fear" is sent to make you feel unloved. Why? Because the bible says, there's no fear in love! And perfect love casts out fear! Understanding the power of God's love for us DRIVES OUT FEAR!

How? Well, if God be for you, WHO CAN BE AGAINST YOU?! If you truly believe that, fear has no place. (See 1 John 4:18)

Succumbing to fear ultimately is agreeing to relax our grip, belief, and conviction of God's love for us.

Lastly, fear says, “Even if I did this, I’d still go through that. If I just had this, I could do that.” It expects, co-signs, and agrees that the cycle will remain and there’s nothing you can really do to change it. “After all, it’s just life. It happened once so it’s gonna happen again. And again.”

Don’t believe the lie.

Hope.

Hope is the expectation of something good or bad.

What or who you hope in dictates where the reins of your thoughts are lulled and pulled into thinking or expecting.

What or Who do you hope IN?

Government? Money? Job? Self? Career?

Let’s be real. Each one of these things in some shape or fashion has failed us all. Just think about it.

But it’s not over. There’s still hope for good.

Remain productive. Pro-active. What do you have in your hands? Don’t mediate on potential disaster. If it costs you your peace, it's too expensive.

Don’t feed into the frequency and cycle of confusion, fear, or survival.

Romans 8:37
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who LOVED US.

May the wisdom, peace and LOVE of God be with you and for you today like never before. May His grace and love shine upon you and increase you. May your hope and expectation be IN Him and IN Him alone. He’s never failed and He never will.

Don’t look for hand outs, you are not a victim!

Lift your hands and receive direction and wisdom freely from the Most High. He’s above the wind and the waves. Remain seated in Christ, with your Father and see things from His perspective. He will lead you not to survive but to thrive. He will lead you to hope and not disaster.

There‘s still hope. There is a Way! Stay strong family. This too shall pass.

“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NLT

Bless you family! I hope this ministered to you.

Glory to God alone.
