Pressure

May 19, 2021

Hey Family! Joshua here. I hope your week is progressing powerfully as the Lord's hand is upon you everywhere you go.

I sensed the Lord wants me to share with you this thought about pressure.

Check this out:

James 5:16 AMP
16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

Our bodies weren't designed to carry loads of stress and pressure. If we go back to the garden, we see the temperature was set to "the cool of the day."

The Lord has blessed me with a glimpse into Heaven. The atmosphere is alive and has depth of life. It's not too warm, not too cold, it's literally beautiful and love charged.

Pressure, anxiety, and stress are dissonant frequencies that don't align with the perfect harmonics of godly harmony. They're set to bring in distortion and glitches within our synchrony with God.

They distract us from rest and thrives off the currency of fear and worry.

The more pressure we feel, the more we focus on the "feelings" and the potential, undesired results that can come from the circumstance.

One day, I was, for lack of better words, TICKED! I was upset and was "mad at God." I felt like He was just moving too slow.

I felt like my circumstance was stagnate and the Lord seemed silent.

So, under my breath and gritting my teeth, I said, "God, what is going on???"

And glory to God, He spoke!

He said, "The pressure you feel is a gift! It's not to be used against Me but against the devil."

In other words, God said, don't get made at Me, exercise your authority and command the devil to get under your feet!

Often times, we look at God like, "YOOO, come fix this! What's going on?!"

But God is saying, take that energy and declare My promises. Exercise your authority and utilize pressure / frustration as tools in your favor and don't succumb to its mission to bring you down.

When Jesus was tempted, He consistently responded to satan with, "It is written." He spoke the Word.

The Word is a sword. Emotions are gifts to be governed, they're not meant to be gods.

If you feel pressure, get up and declare!

"In Jesus, I'm complete! The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want!"

"The Lord provides all of my needs"

"I lack nothing in Him!"

Declare His promises and rebuke the enemy as Jesus did.

As we keep our focus on Him and declare His word vs the echos of the pressure, the Lord always wins. He's never failed and He never will.

This will turn your mourning into dancing.

In closing, check this out:

Isaiah 61:3
To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

Praising Him and declaring His promises with passion and thanksgiving catapults us out from under pressure's thumb and into liberty, power, and the cool of the day.

You're a choice away from freedom.
