Do You Remember?
Greetings family!
I pray this message fills you with peace and love as the Lord speaks to you directly and in season. Glory!
Life. Life tends to present opportunities that we can take or reject. On any given day, we can experience the highest of dopamines or the lowest of serotonin.
It’s interesting because oftentimes in the moment, it SEEMS to be heavier than anything you’ve experienced. The compilation of your past merging with the present feels larger than just the incident at hand. It’s feels more because it’s a,
“Should I even be here, again??? Why is this STILL happening?? The first time, okay. But the 80th time?! AHHH?! God! WHEN will I just breakthrough?”
I’ve been there. Sometimes, the lack of what we can see screams louder than the unseen. It tries to overtake the power of what faith and trust in God can produce in just a moments notice.
The power of believing. Selah
Interestingly enough, that’s what the enemy wants us to do.
REMEMBER.
He wants us to remember ALL the times we fell and ALL the times “it didn’t work, so why would it work now?”
It’s actually an antidote of the Father that the enemy perverted. How is that? Because God wants you to remember as well…
David understood this paradox as well:
Psalm 42:6
and my God.
My soul is CAST DOWN within me;
THEREFORE I REMEMBER you
from the land of Jordan and of Hermon,
from Mount Mizar.
Do you see that?
An antidote for our soul’s rejuvenation and replenishment is to REMEMBER that God has delivered you or others before.
In that scripture, the land of Jordan, Hermon, and Mount Mizar represented powerful feats the Lord performed in defeating the enemy or breakthrough.
Do you remember?
Revelation 12:11 says:
And they have CONQUERED him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their TESTIMONY, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
It is SO important not to rehearse and fall into the trap of the past failures or dark seasons.
GOD is FOR you and He’s wanting to jog our memory of the GOOD things He’s done for you others.
He’s no respecter of persons. If He did for them, He will do it for you. If He did it for you once, He’s able to do exceedingly more.
God is not trying to tease you with past successes, He’s preparing you to think and accomplish bigger. This is not a game. He’s not here to entertain, He’s here to love you and function with domination as you in the earth for the sake of love, power, and HIS kingdom taking precedence. It’s love originated and motivated.
The kingdom of darkness, guilt, shame, judgement, sex, and idolatry has overtaken many mediums. But GOD.
BUT GOD! There’s still hope!
Do you remember?
Do you remember the time, He healed you? He delivered you? Set you on High? Brought you breakthrough?
REMEMBER Family!
In closing:
Psalm 42:11
Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.
Another antidote is HOPE.
David saw that his mind, will and emotions were at a halt. But this scripture shows us that hope can exalt.
Is your soul cast down? HOPE AGAIN!
Hope is the expectation of something good or something bad. Negative meditation is worry and expecting negative results is a perversion of Hope’s intent. Remember the Lord IS your hope.
Psalm 71:5
For You are my hope, O Lord GOD; You are my trust from my youth.
If God is your Hope, you can’t expect anything but good because God IS good!!!
Hallelujah! If it’s not over the top amazing, it’s not over yet. Glory to God…
Stay faithful fam. WIth faith, patience, hope, and remembering, you WILL inherit all that God has for you….
GLORY TO GOD ALONE!
